As of this writing, the incident remains under investigation and it is unclear who is at fault. Current indications suggest the worst-case scenario — that this whole incident was just a major oopsie doopsie. While business owners, employees, staff and patrons nervously await the re-opening of some of their favorite places, an outcome remains uncertain under the threat of a hellish and proloonged purgatory of tort law.
